Most travelers to Orlando are familiar with one additional thing (besides the talking mouse and duck!) for which the city is famous. Dinner shows and Orlando go hand in hand and there are many of them available no matter where your taste in entertainment lies. I will name a few of the more well known, but research for others if your perfect match is not found in this list.

Grocery stores carry many brands of stock and most of them taste commercial to me. Besides, it is easy to make homemade stock. The classic stock is made with chicken pieces or a slow cooker whole chicken, carrots, onions, celery, parsley, pepper corns and garlic, if you like it. All of the vegetables are discarded.

For starters, the offerings range from simple salads to the more exotic (check out the roasted beets with blue cheese mousse). And if it's a burger you crave, you have surloin, lamb of turkey to choose from.

So you are out of eggs, fish, meat, and fresh veggies. But you have a box of tacos, some canned black beans, a can of diced tomatoes, some potatoes or even better, a wrapped up chicken breast or some left over grilled chicken. Here is your meal! Canned vegetables are great because they take years to expire, they cook really fast and they blend in with anything. With a bit of veggies and some meat or potatoes your can make any kind of tacos, casseroles, pasta or rice dishes. You can even go crazy; add some curry, coconut milk and cilantro. You are the main cook in the house so you have every right to get creative!

I love the ingredients! I always try all recipes whole chicken avoid by-products when I can, and I am impressed that Purina does not use any by-products in their Carvers, just high quality chicken, and more than 80% is pretty impressive!

Most used pages: pp 108-110 roast chicken, pp 131-132 Braised Chicken Legs, anything in the Vegetables section starting at p 282, p 216 Warm Olives. Any cook would benefit from reading this book cover to cover - it's filled with easy tips and simple techniques from a master that will raise your cooking to a higher level.

Take the chicken in its pan out of the oven and allow it to rest for at least 15 minutes. This will get the juices to settle back into the meat. In the meantime, cook up a little rice or potatoes (for mashed, of course:). You can use the juices from the pan that the chicken was cooking in as your gravy -- no additional work needed unless you want to. Heat up some frozen peas too. This is a terribly delicious combination, for whatever reason!

One of the easiest meals is to empty a bag of "designer" lettuce onto a large plate, toss on a few grape tomatoes, chopped veggies (whatever you have on hand), and some of your shredded or sliced chicken. Do you have some cheese? Grated cheddar is very good, but splurge on some Gruyere cheese and use some of that, shredded, as a topping. If you are shopping at the market best crockpot meals the rest of your groceries, this will not be a major setback in cost and the reward is great!

Small and toy dogs can have some damage to the esophagus at times. It is important to consult with people who are feeding their dog a raw homemade diet. It is also advisable to consult with your veterinarian. Reading posts on the internet can get you running in circles if you read on and on. It is best to talk to the voices of experience that are in your dog circles. Responsible dog owners and breeders are great sources of information in any aspect of keeping your dog healthy and happy.
